A 40-year-old factory. A store that finally says so.

Al Yasser has made abayas, hijab basics and sets in Egypt since 1983. The old store did not mention it, spoke half English to an Arabic-speaking buyer, and left her guessing on size, delivery and payment. We rebuilt it on Shopify around those four questions.

Case · Al Yasser

The buyer was Egyptian. The store was not.

Al Yasser is a family factory with four branches in Cairo and Alexandria and a strong word of mouth. Online, the store was a stock Dawn theme: English labels on an Arabic audience, a home page that was a long list of past seasons, and nothing about cash on delivery, sizing or exchange before checkout. We have run the ads since January 2026; in 2026 we rebuilt the store so the pages our campaigns land on answer what the buyer actually asks.

English labels on an Arabic audience

"Filter and sort", "Add to cart", "Shipping calculated at checkout", "Your cart". The buyer reads Arabic; the store asked her to translate.

Fix: a right-to-left Arabic store, written by hand, label by label

Cash on delivery was a checkout surprise

Egyptian buyers pay on delivery. Nothing on the home, collection or product page said it was possible, or what delivery costs.

Fix: COD, delivery fee, free shipping threshold and 14-day exchange on every page
Guesswork

Sizes 44 to 64, and no way to choose

Plus sizes are the brand's edge, but the product page offered a row of numbers and a colour swatch. Size doubt is the biggest reason an abaya is not bought online.

Fix: a weight-based size finder, a per-size weight range under the selector, and a WhatsApp "ask about my size"

A factory since 1983 that never said so

The old home page led with "Winter 2025–2026" and scrolled through every past season. Not a word about the factory, the fabric, or the four branches.

Fix: "Al Yasser factory, since 1983" in the hero; fabric and branches as sections
No proof

Reviews existed offline only

Years of happy customers, zero of it on the site. Product pages had no ratings and no customer photos.

Fix: verified reviews with a 4.85 average and customer videos on the home page
Flat

Every product looked equally important

Collections were a plain grid with "Choose options" on each card. No best-seller signal, no quick add, no sold-out sizes shown.

Fix: best-seller badges, quick-add by size, colour swatches, and a "shop by weight" entry point

Questions

Before you ask.

Do I need to change platform or start a new store?

No. We build on your existing Shopify store and theme. Products, orders, customers and apps stay where they are.

Will my site go offline while you work?

No. We work on a copy of your theme and publish each phase only after you approve it.

Do you only work with brands that run ads with you?

No, but it helps. When we run your ads too, we design the pages your campaigns land on and measure the change from your store's own numbers.

Can you build the Arabic version?

Yes. We build a right-to-left Arabic store with copy written by a person, not machine translation, and a language switch in the header.

How long does it take?

It depends on the scope. We release in phases, starting with the pages that turn a visit into an order, so improvements go live early.

Send us your store. We'll tell you why it isn't selling.
